CEC 2027 CONVENTION

So glad we met at CEC.

I’m Jenn Adams, a special education consultant from Pennsylvania. I help schools build special education classrooms where students feel safe, learn more, and grow more independent.

Maybe you came to one of my sessions, stopped by my table, or scanned a code on a flyer. Either way, everything from CEC is right here: the session resources, the classroom toolkit, and the easiest way to keep the conversation going.

WHERE TO FIND ME AT CEC

Two sessions with my co-presenter, Carly Paules, plus my table in the exhibit hall for the whole convention.

MY SESSIONS

Two sessions built for real classrooms.

SESSION ONE

From GOALS to Growth: Writing IEP Goals and Collecting Data That Drive Instruction

How to write IEP goals you can actually measure, collect data that’s quick enough to keep up with, and use it to change what happens in the lesson. You’ll leave with simple tools to use with your team the very next week.

SESSION TWO

From Chaos to Routine: Building Independent Work Systems for Every Student

A step-by-step look at independent work systems. How to set them up, how to teach them, and how to grow them so every student, at every level, has a way to work on their own.

Check the CEC 2027 program for days, times, and room numbers.

SESSION RESOURCES

Want the slides and handouts?

I’ll send the slides, handouts, and tools from both sessions straight to your inbox. Just email me with “CEC” in the subject line and tell me which session you came to.

VISIT MY TABLE

See the autistic support toolkit up close.

Stop by my table in the exhibit hall to flip through the materials I use to set up autistic support classrooms. Visual schedules, stations, routines, independent work, and more. Bring your questions. Classroom setup is my favorite thing to talk about.

HOW I HELP SCHOOLS

Support for the programs you’re building.

Autistic support classroom setup

Room setup, schedules, stations, and routines that help students know what’s coming and help teachers stay ahead of the day.

IEP goals and progress monitoring

Measurable goals, data sheets your team will actually use, and decision rules that turn numbers into instruction.

New teacher coaching

Coaching and onboarding that helps first and second year special education teachers stay, grow, and feel confident.

Behavior and structure

Practical behavior support built on structure, visuals, and routines the whole team can follow.

AFTER CEC

Questions from CEC

When will the CEC session resources be available?

I’ll send them as soon as you email me, during the convention or after. If you missed a session, just tell me which one you’re interested in and I’ll send that one too.

Can you bring a CEC session to my school or district?

Yes. Both sessions can be adapted into professional development for your staff, with follow-up coaching so the ideas actually stick. Email me and we can talk through what your team needs.

Who is my co-presenter?

Carly Paules is a teacher with Jennipher Adams Educational Services and my co-presenter for both CEC 2027 sessions. She brings the same practical, classroom-first approach.

How do I stay in touch after CEC?

Email me any time. You can also read the blog for new posts on IEP goals and data, classroom routines, and supporting special education teachers.

Let’s keep the conversation going.

Tell me a little about your program and what you’re working on. I’ll get back to you personally.
