MEET JENN ADAMS

Hi, I’m Jenn.

I help schools, districts, and families build special education classrooms where students feel safe, learn more, and grow more independent.

I’m Jenn Adams, a special education consultant, instructional coach, former autistic support teacher, and the founder of Jennipher Adams Educational Services. I’ve spent almost 20 years in classrooms, and I still get excited every time I walk into one.

MY STORY, IN SHORT

Structure isn’t about control. It’s about safety.

Years ago, I had a student who spent most of his school day in tears. Transitions were hard. Every change in the schedule felt like the floor dropping out from under him.

So I made him a visual schedule. Nothing fancy. Just pictures, Velcro, and a strip of laminated card stock. Within a couple of weeks he was checking it on his own. The tears slowed down. And for the first time, I saw him relax at school.

That’s when I learned that when students know what’s coming, they can finally focus on learning. It’s shaped everything I’ve done since, from my own classroom to every teacher I coach today.

HOW JENN ADAMS GOT HERE

Almost 20 years, one classroom at a time

2007

First grade teacher

My teaching career started in a general education first grade classroom, watching kids build their first reading, writing, and math skills.

2009

Pre-K teacher

Teaching our youngest learners showed me how much social and emotional skills matter for everything that comes after.

2012

Dean of Students, alternative education program

I oversaw classrooms, staff, and curriculum, and worked closely with partner school districts to support students with challenging behavior.

2013

Autistic support teacher

I spent seven years running an autistic support classroom, writing IEPs and behavior plans, conducting FBAs, and building the routines and visuals that became Teach Love Autism.

2014

Founded Teach Love Autism

What started as a little side blog grew into Teach Love Autism, a resource shop and a membership with more than 400 special education teachers.

2020

Virtual autistic support teacher and RBT

I taught students with autism and intellectual disabilities in a virtual classroom and earned my RBT credential.

2021

Wilson and structured literacy instruction

I started teaching structured literacy one-on-one online, and earned my Wilson Reading certification in 2022.

2023

Special education instructional coach

I coached more than 100 special education teachers in autistic support, life skills, and emotional support classrooms, and led the rollout of an IEP data platform to 100% implementation across 80+ teachers.

2026

Full-time special education consultant

Today I partner with districts and intermediate units, support homeschool and cyber school families, and am presenting two sessions at the Council for Exceptional Children CEC 2027 Convention.

WHAT JENN ADAMS BELIEVES

All people deserve to feel safe, valued, and respected.

That belief is behind every classroom I walk into and every resource I make. Here’s what it looks like in practice.

●

Structure creates safety

Clear routines and visuals help students predict their day, and that predictability is what makes learning possible.

●

Systems beat more stuff

Most teams don’t need more materials. They need a plan for the great materials they already have.

●

Every adult matters

Teachers, paras, and families all do better when everyone knows their role and feels supported in it.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Teacher, coach, and homeschool mom

At the end of the day, my family is what matters most. I have a supportive husband and two wonderful daughters, and my girls even help me create materials for our business. It’s a true family effort.

I’ve also homeschooled my own children, so I know firsthand what it takes to choose curriculum, track progress, and adapt to a child’s unique needs at home. That’s why I also offer homeschool evaluations, IEP guidance, and curriculum support for families.

Let’s talk about your classrooms.

Whether you lead a district program, teach in a classroom, or guide your child’s learning at home, I’d love to hear what’s going on and how I can help.
